The left-most* panel on the main screen is called the Databases panel, and from here you use checkboxes to select the databases you want to work with. Once a selection is made, the selected databases will be listed in theGridpane on the upper right.
The Grid Data Compositionpanel, which lets you choose which properties to show in the grid, is on the right-hand side. You'll find theOutputpanel on the lower part of the screen, this is used to display logged information such as errors. TheProperty Analyzer Gridcan also be found in the lower section of the databaseEZ main screen. *The panel positions stated are the defaults. databaseEZ offers a docking interface where you can drag-and-drop to rearrange any of the panels as describedhere; the Grid pane is fixed.

NOTE
Because it loads so quickly, only summarized information is shown by default in the Grid pane. Properties that have no available summarized information are shaded in light blue; these properties will be loaded if you clickCtrl+L orEdit>Load Complete Database Information.
Menu options
File
Open ServerCtrl+O: You'll need to choose a server before you begin using databaseEZ.
Refresh ServerF9: This command will refresh the database information in the databaseEZ Grid. Please note: that any non-summarized information will disappear from the grid and require re-loading after you refresh the server.
Apply ChangesCtrl+S: Use this option to write any changes made in databaseEZ to your server. (Changes that have not yet been applied to the server are indicated with a pencil icon in the leftmost column in the Grid pane).
Save Selection in Databases Panel:This option will save the current selection of databases in theDatabasespanel to aYtria XML filefor future use.
Save Database Selection in Grid:This option will save both the current selection of databases in the Databases panel and any databases selected in the grid to aYtria XML filefor future use.
Load Saved Selection:Use this option to load a previously saved selection. (Note: you can open XML files generated in agentEZ or aclEZ here as well).
Themes: Lets you change databaseEZ's skin.
Favorite Servers: This feature lets you keep a list of favorite servers. Servers added to this list will be shared between aclEZ, agentEZ and databaseEZ (if you have all these products installed). Clickhereto read more about this feature.
Exit: Quit databaseEZ.
Edit
Select AllCtrl+A: Use this option to select all databases in theGridpane.
Load Complete Database InformationCtrl+L: Use this option to load the database property information that is not summarized (the columns for non-summarized properties will be empty and shaded unless complete database information is loaded).
Revert to Summarized InformationCtrl+U: This option removes any non-summarized properties from theGridpane.
Edit Database Basic PropertiesCtrl+1:This option lets you mass-modify properties that correspond to the 'Database Basics' tab of the Database Properties dialog in Lotus Notes.
Edit DatabaseDesign PropertiesCtrl+2:This option lets you mass-modify properties that correspond to the 'Design' tab of the Database Properties dialog in Lotus Notes.
Edit Database Advanced PropertiesCtrl+3:This option lets you mass-modify properties that correspond to the 'Advanced' tab of the Database Properties dialog in Lotus Notes.
Edit Database Miscellaneous PropertiesCtrl+4:This option lets you mass-modify various properties that do not fit in the previous three categories.
Edit Template Name: This lets you edit the Template name setting for any selected databases by regular expression.
Edit Replia ID: You can use this to change the Replica ID for a single database selected in theGridpane.
Open with aclEZ:This will open the databases that are selected in the Grid pane in aclEZ
Open with agentEZ:This will open the databases that are selected in the Grid pane in agentEZ
Open with designPropEZ:This will open the databases that are selected in the Grid pane in designPropEZ. If multiple databases were selected, multiple instances of designPropEZ will be launched.
Open with scanEZ: This will open the databases that are selected in the Grid pane in scanEZ. If multiple databases were selected, multiple instances of scanEZ will be launched.
Open with signEZ: This will open the databases that are selected in the Grid pane in signEZ. If multiple databases were selected, multiple instances of signEZ will be launched.
Sign/Audit with Another ID (with signEZ): This lets you sign or audit the design elements of any databases selected in the Grid pane using another ID. In order to use this feature you must ownYtria signEZ.
Delete Database(s):Use this to delete databases selected in the Grid pane.
Open in Designer: Opens the selected databases in Domino Designer.
Open in Notes Client: Open the selected agent in the Lotus Notes client.

Read Database Immediately Upon Selection: If this option is selected, databases will be displayed in theGridpane as soon as their checkboxes are selected in theDatabasespanel.
Read Database Only When 'Apply' Button is Clicked: If this option is selected, a user must make his-or-her checkbox selection in theDatabasepanel, then click theApplybutton before databases and their properties appear in theGridpane.
Database Files: These options allow you to change how files are listed in theDatabasepanel.
Show Title(e.g: Demo1's Address Book)
Show File Name(eg: names.nsf)
Show Title - File(e.g: Demo1's Address Book -- names.nsf)
Show File - Title(e.g: names.nsf -- Demo1's Address Book)
Log Type: Here you can choose what gets displayed in theOutputpanel.
Full Access Administration: This enables 'Full Access Adminstration' in databaseEZ
Grid Column Selection: These options let you choose how databaseEZ indicates the currently selected database property column in the Grid pane.
Flash Column Name: When this option is enabled, the status bar near the top of the Grid pane will flash when a new database property column is selected. If blinking bothers your eyes, you may wish to turn this option off.
Highlight Selected Column: This option will highlight the entire currently property column in the Grid pane when you click a cell.
Tools
Generate Replica ID(s):This option lets you generate new Replica IDs for databases selected in the Grid pane.
Generate Database ID(s):This option lets you generate new Database IDs for selected databases in the Grid pane. Please note that this feature is only active when looking at local databases.
Export IND File:This lets you save your current database selection in the Grid pane as an Indirect (.ind) file.
Property Analyzer:Launches the Serverwide Property Analyzer, a tool designed to help find databases based on their properties.
