sapio365 and the EZ Suite products include a built-in MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to applications. You will need an local AI client (such as Claude Desktop, for example), to connect to the built-in MCP server. Once your AI client is connected, you can ask it in plain language to look at what the product has open, read and analyze grid data, and write, run and save automation scripts, all inside the product you are already working in.
In these pages, the product means sapio365 or the EZ Suite product you work with.
The MCP server needs a full or trial licence of the product that includes the AI (MCP) feature.

How it works
-
The AI works through the product, never around it. It acts on what the product has open, with the rights you have there: your sapio365 session, role and RBAC restrictions, or your Notes ID and its access.
-
It works in your live application. What the AI does happens on your screen, in the windows you see, while you keep working.
-
It runs on your computer. Each product's MCP server listens on a localhost address, for AI clients running on the same computer. It is available only while the product is open and its server is started, and you can stop it at any time.
-
It comes with the Ytria documentation. Along with the product, your AI client is given the Ytria documentation server, so it looks things up instead of guessing.
-
You decide what the AI may do. You can forbid it to read your data, to save changes, or to load another session (sapio365) or switch to another Notes ID (EZ Suite), and runs started by the AI are marked as such.
Supported AI clients
Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Visual Studio Code (GitHub Copilot in agent mode), Goose and ChatGPT/Codex: the product configures them for you. Any other MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP servers can be configured by hand.

Try it
Once your client is connected, ask it:
-
In sapio365: “Which tenant is sapio365 connected to, and is my session elevated?”
-
In scanEZ: “Which database is open in scanEZ, and what access do I have in it?”
-
In any product: “Why did my last automation script fail?”
